Our January 5th Community Call will include time in the Virtual Studio and in peer dialogue.

 

For the Studio, your preparations can be as simple or elaborate as you wish.

 

If you want to draw, feel free to work with what’s close at hand. 

• 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper and/or large sketchbook

• Different colour pens and/or markers, ideally water based (not permanent)

• Pencil, charcoal, pastels if available
   

If you’re painting, you’ll want to set up before the call starts (and maybe continue after!)

• Table/desk or smooth wall space to mount paper (and low-tack masking tape if you are using wall space, blue painter’s tape works nicely and won’t damage the wall)

• Prepare some medium brushes and paints (tempra, fingerpaints!, or acrylic); a tray and water dish; canvas or thick, mixed media paper; and a rag or paper towel.
